Little Social Studies Thinkers is a complete social studies curriculum specifically for students in grade 2. It’s everything you need to introduce, teach, practice, and assess your 2nd grade students, including step-by-step scripted lesson plans and teaching PowerPoints. It incorporates many state 2nd grade social studies standards. This curriculum was completely researched, designed, and created by Karen Jones.
This curriculum currently contains 5 unit plans, with 62 lessons. Most lessons take 1 class period to complete. Lessons are approximately 35-40 minutes in length and many lessons can be split into two class periods.
